Carp fishing holidays at Etang de la Vilotte
Carp fishing holidays at the fishing lake Etang de la Vilotte in France are a short flight from many UK airports in to Limoges. We are located 40 minutes from Limoges airport. Due to changing flight schedules from the UK to Limoges airport, we will be offering stays starting on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday for either single bookings or lake exclusive bookings please get in touch to find out more.
Etang de la Vilotte offers anglers a mix of single and double swims for a maximum of 4 anglers if flying or a group of 5 if drive & survive.
At the time of booking a 50% non-refundable deposit is required for lake exclusive or for single anglers £100 non-refundable deposit. The full amount is payable 8 weeks before your arrival. If you book with in 8 weeks of arrival then full payment is required.
If you choose to fly & fish with hire of our tackle, all you would need to bring are your reels, alarms, sleeping bag, end tackle, head torch and carp care kit. (Please note we do not arrange flights, these are not included)
If you choose to drive, the lake is only a 7.5 hour drive from Calais or between 5-6 hours from Le Harve, Caen or St Malo ferry ports.
There is a shower room on site along with dry toilets on both sides of the lake. There is also an outside covered seating area with BBQ, pizza oven and a large fridge powered by solar along with solar power points for charging bait boats, phones & iPads/laptops only. There is a single cabin on the far side of the lake (swim 6) another will be added in the future on the same side, follow our Facebook page for the updates.
There are supermarkets, petrol stations, tabac, boulangerie, pharmacies and restaurants all within a 10 minute drive from the lake in nearby Saint Mathieu or Cussac. For our fly in guests we can arrange supermarket runs if required throughout the week.
Piegut Pluviers has a wonderful lively market every Wednesday up until 1pm and is only a short drive from the lake. Brantome is also a lovely place to visit and has a market every Friday morning. Brantome is located around 40 minutes from the lake. Local night markets are usually on during the summer months too where you can buy food, drink and listen to the band.

lake exclusive for up to 5 anglers if driving or 4 if flying: Only €995
Or single angler per swim only: €350
Tackle hire only: €125
Food package consisting of breakfast baguette or croissants & cereal and evening meal: €200 (other options available)
Bait boat hire per week €60 or €10 per day (2 available)
Bait available to purchase on site at a reasonable cost: Pellet, Boilies, Particle an order form will be sent to you on booking.
Non anglers are welcome, but check with us for availability €90 per week (maximum group of 4 if flying)
Winter prices from December to end of February for 7 night stays €150 per angler or Lake exclusive €400
